Being an artist is a never ending journey. One never "arrives" and is suddenly an "artist". I hope that I can find a little something somewhere in the corner of my mind to share, and perhaps by writing about what I try to do might just be of some value to a fellow artist.

Colorado View in Sepia Oil Painting
Olde Towne Art's next show is Black and White plus One opening next week. I painted this from a photo I took while in Colorado and decided to use it for the show. As much as I love color, this was challenging for me to do. Couldn't I add just a little green or a little more blue? The criteria for the show is that the artist can use only black and white paint and only one other color. I used yellow ochre. Sold it before it was finished.
